Bhopal’s Zainul Aabedin Khatani Selected for Pilot Training in US

Bhopal, June 29: Seventeen-year-old Bhopal youth Zainul Aabedin Khatani brought laurel to the city when he was selected in the American Flying Institute PRO Aircraft Flying Training, Fort Worth, Texas, USA. He joined his course on June 15.
Zainul Aabedin is the first youth from Bhopal to be selected for the course. He has been very keen to become a pilot since his childhood. He passed his 10th class in first division from Jawahar Lal Nehru School Bhopal. Thereafter, he was selected in the Scholar Batch of Aazam Campus, Pune from where he passed his 12th class this year with Mathematics & Biology and scored 72 per cent marks.
 
He is the younger son of Mr. Omar Farook Khatani, who is secretary, State Minorities Commission of Madhya Pradesh & president, State Administrative Services Association of Madhya Pradesh.
 
Zain's role model is Mr. Shahid Bilgrami, who is a General Manager & Commander is Air India, Mumbai. Shahid guided, promoted & motivated Zain to become a good pilot.
 
For the Tuition fees & other expenses State Bank of Indore, Bhopal Branch has sanctioned Rs. 13.75 lacs (1.375 million).
Since Zain is a Memon, so, on request the World Memon Organization (Indian Chapter) has sanctioned Rs. 5 Lacs (Half million) for his Pilot training course. ([email protected])
