Chennai: Jasmin Banu, the Tamil Nadu topper of Class X exam 2010, was today felicitated by Tamil Nadu Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam (TMMK) here. Banu of Tirunalveli Town MPL High School topped the entire state in board exam by scoring 495 marks out of 500.
At felicitation program held at TMMK office, Banu who was accompanied by her parents was presented a laptop on her achievement. “My hard work paid me,” said she who comes from a below average family. She studied at a government school.

TMMK President Prof. Jawahirullah wished her a bright future. He prayed for her dream ambition to become an IAS officer.
Other TMMK leaders present at the occasion included General Secretary S. Hyder Ali, Joint.General Secretary J.S. Rifayee and MMK General Secretary P.Abdul Samad.
