Aligarh: Three students –Ibadur Rahman, S. Anwer Ali and Md. Nazibullah of Department of Civil Engineering, Aligarh Muslim University have won 1st Prize in All India JK White Design Challenge Competition held at IIT Kanpur.
Twenty Five teams from various IITs, NITs and other colleges across the country took part in the competition. The AMU team was awarded first prize of Rs. 20 thousand.The same team won second prize in the same event at IIT Kanpur last year.
Ibadur Rahman is also a member of the team of managing editors of ‘NERD’, a Technical Magazine published from IIT Kanpur and also the managing editor of the magazine ‘SIGHT’ published by Department of Civil Engineering, AMU. The latest issue of the magazine was recently released under the auspices of Institution of Engineers Aligarh Chapter.
