Centre likely to announce Rs 1 crore for clue about Pune blast

New Delhi: Contrary to the attempts by a section of media to push the probe in Pune blast to a specific, old direction, the Central Government is not jumping to conclusion, rather wants to let the probe move scientifically and professionally. The government admits that it is yet to get vital clues about terrorists who executed blast, and so is mulling a reward of Rs1 crore to anyone who gives vital clues about the German Bakery blast.

In the blast on February 13, 9 people were killed and 50 others injured. The deceased included two foreigners. The injured also included some foreigners. The German Bakery was popular eating point for foreigners visiting the area that has Osho Ashram and Chabad House.

According to media reports, the reward proposal is being considered at the highest level in New Delhi. If the award is declared, the identity of the person who shares any information about the perpetrators of the blast will be protected. He would not be asked to reveal even his name but would be awarded with only condition that the information should be correct.

The centre is considering the move as investigators are still groping for vital clues about the terrorists behind the blast.
