Tauheed Jamath to hold conference to demand justice in Babri case

By TCN News,

Chennai: To intensify the demand of justice for Babri Masjid and to protest against the Allahabad High Court verdict of September 30, 2010, Tamil Nadu Tauheed Jamath (TNTJ) is going to organize a conference in Chennai and Madurai–two cities of Tamil Nadu–on 4th January 2011.

“The main purpose of the conference is to seek fair judgment in the case because the verdict delivered by Allahabad High Court is based on faith and not evidences, which hurt Muslims’ sentiments” said TNTJ vice president of Tamil Nadu state R Rahmathullah.

“Since 1992, we have been conducting protest and continuously demanding for Justice to Babri Masjid but this year we dropped our protest on Dec. 6 and decided to hold the conference on Jan. 4 to attract government as well as public attention towards our demand. Otherwise it would become only an anniversary protest” he added.

TNTJ is a non-political organization operated by Tamil-speaking people. The organization has been working for the community in India as well as various Muslim countries including UAE, Saudi, Qatar, and Kuwait.
