Kerala Muslims should start anti-terror movement: Chennithala

By IANS,

New Delhi : Muslims in Kerala should start a movement to alienate elements trying to spread terror in the name of religion and maligning their community in the process, said state Congress party chief Ramesh Chennithala.

"There are only one or two people from the state engaging in terror-like activities in the state. It is the duty of the society to alienate such elements. Of course, the movement should start from within the Muslim society," Chennithala told IANS here.

"The government should take strong measures to curb the elements trying to create divisions in society," he said.

Chennithala's call for an anti-terror movement comes in the wake of activists of the banned Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) activists being arrested in the state.

After the alleged Ahmedabad blasts mastermind Mufti Abdul Bashr's arrest in August, the Gujarat police had said the SIMI activists behind the July 26 bombings were trained at Wagamon in Kottayam. Police in Kerala confirmed that the camp had been conducted in December.

Chennithala, meanwhile, lauded the efforts of many Muslim organisations that work for social welfare.

"Most of the Muslim organisations in the state are working for the welfare of the community and to strengthen the society," the Congress leader said.

The state Congress chief came down heavily on the "misrule" of the Left Democratic Front (LDF) government in Kerala.

"The (chief minister) V.S. Achuthanandan ministry is interested only in corruption and controversy," he alleged.

"There are no developmental activities taking place in the state. No foreign investments. Prices of essential commodities are shooting up, charges of electricity and water have increased and the bus fares are unbearable. The people are fed up with the government," said Chennithala, who has completed three years as president of KPCC (Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee).

He said that the forthcoming general election would be a litmus test for the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M)-led government. "Their performance would be measured by the people," he said.

"The CPI-M is amassing wealth in the shadow of administration in Kannur and some other districts," he alleged.

Chennithala said that "winnability" would be the main criteria while selecting candidates for the polls.

He said that the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) would not be expanded before the elections and that the demands of all member parties would be met during the seat-sharing procedure.

Senseless Congress

Ramesh Chennithala asks Kerala Muslims to start anti-terror movement! Wonder comes from a dirty mind!!

Congress in in power. Thousands of Christians in Orissa fled their homes. Hundreds lost their lives. In Karnataks the situation is not different. In Madhypradesh, in Maharashtra, in Assam....hundreds of minority community members are murdered, and Congress rules India.

Ramesh should ask Soniya and Manmohan to act against these terrorists who killed thousands of Indians.

I wish to know a few names of Kerala Muslim terrorists, Ramesh knows. Madani spent nine years in jail and later court said, he is innocent. Mr. Ramesh, this is India. You should have shame. Look at your back, can you see the tail. People laughs. You are really represent them.

Hindus are involved in the blast with the help of the racists Indian security forces who have majority of racists hindu leaneaing.
Look at the Tripura blast where the racist media within seconds blamed the Muslims behind it and even arrested a Sheikh of a Majid. But it now comes out to be the handi work of the Hindus.

Major breakthrough in Tripura blasts
CORRESPONDENT
AGARTALA, Oct 12 – Sleuths of CID investigating the Agartala serial blasts on Sunday got a major breakthrough in the investigation when they busted a hideout where bombs were believed to be prepared. However, no arrest was made so far.

Based on intelligence inputs, a team of police led by Superintendent of Police, West Tripura district, KV Sreejesh carried out a raid in the house of Satyajit Roy at Abhoynagar, near the capital town around 3 pm today.

During the raid, a bomb diagram, one memory card of mobile set and other ingredients believed to be used in making bombs were recovered from a rented room of the house.

On being questioned, the house owner said that three tribal youths took the room on rent few days back.

“They were seen after the serial blasts”, the house owner told the police. The house owner could not give the addresses of the trio.

“This is indeed a major breakthrough into the investigations. It will help the investigating agency to trace out the people responsible for the serial blasts”, said the SP. “A state-wide hunt has been initiated to nab the trio”, he added.

Meanwhile, a local court on Sunday granted interim bail to Imam Billal Ahmed, who had been arrested by sleuths of CID in connection with the Agartala serial blasts.

Billal, originally from Assam’s Patharkandi area, had been picked up by CID personnel on October 5 for alleged involvement in the blasts. Subsequently, he was remanded to police custody for seven days.

On Saturday, he was produced before the Judicial Magistrate first class, PC Biswas, who granted him interim bail up to November 7, said Purosuttam Roy Barman, defending lawyer.

The court also asked him not to leave West district without prior permission. According to the court, he will have to appear before the Investigating Officer once a week.

The arrest of the Imam on alleged false charge had triggered widespread resentment among the Muslims. A delegation of the Tripura Jamiat Ulema had met Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on October 10 and demanded unconditional release of the Imam.

“We welcome the decision of the court”, was the reaction of Mufti Tayebur Rahaman, president of the Jamiat Ulema soon after release of Billal.

“We want guilty people to be booked but why innocent Muslims are being victimized unnecessarily all the time”, he said.

Sources in the CID claimed that cops are no longer in dark in the investigation into the serial blasts’ cases.

“We have got the line of investigation but could not identify people behind the blasts”, said a police official on condition of anonymity.

It is almost certain that ATTF militants used local miscreants in carrying out serial blasts to trigger panic before the Durga puja, he said.

“We could not rule out nexus between ATTF and Assam based outlawed ULFA in executing the plan”, said a police official.

According to him, several SIMs of Aircel were procured by both ATTF and ULFA from Renuka Studio at Simna in West Tripura district. Santanu Chowdhury, the owner of the studio is now in police custody. “We are verifying the statement of Chowdhury”, he said.

The BJP and the Sangh are behind the blasts

The BJP and the Sangh are behind the blasts. I did say that this will continue with greater frequency till the elections.

Hindus and Muslims will have to die so that Advani becomes PM.

In this particular case, Muslims died, Hindus know they did it, so there is no outrage or demand for Shivraj Patil's head.

The only problem is that when Hindus die in blasts, that is also arranged by the Sangh to get the Hindu votes. In this case, Hindus become blind with rage.

India's problem is Brahmanical Hinduism. Hindus form the worst community in India, due to their disintegrative instincts. Unless we root out RSS, VHP and Bajrang Dal, the Hindus will break India.

The Hindus are now scared of their shadows. Their nerves are frayed. In Bombay, a court was evacuated due to a bomb scare. In the Rajasthan temple disaster, I read that a wall collapsed after which a rumour of a bomb blast led to a stampede.

The Muslims make the Hindus quiver. The BJP has reduced the Hindus to a state of anxiety and shock. It is a good preparation for the next election. There will be many such shocks to come.

Man you are absolutely on

Man you are absolutely on the money. All the claims you have made are 1000% valid...And the thing is that We can't do much about it. The great media will never show the agenda behind the violence...It saddens me seeing the Indian democracy going to flushed down the drain. The only thing we can do is pray for the people of India.

Anonymous..terrorist

I stubled upon this site while searching for some information on Adilabad. I read some posts and find the postings under 'Anonymous' striking to say the least and psychopathic to be accurate. It is obvious that you can not even comeup with a name for yourself. From the intellect of your postings it is obvious that you belong in a mental institution of the highest level.

You say.. Hindus are scared and quiver, which is indisputable. But with your limited intellect you can not comprehend the consequences of it. Muslims in india grew to be more than in pakistan due to the tolerance of India. If you brake it, it doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure what the consequences could be and who will stand to loose most. Then again, you are a psychopath in line with your kind who are doing these bombings etc. I would not be surprised if you are one of the perpetrators and partcipants of these groups.

I also observed that you are under the impression that Muslims brought some kind of great civilization to india and it was a lost place before. It is obvious that muslims had influenced and contributed to the indian tradition and culture it is just insane to say Bharat was nothing before.

there were only 2 trade routes that dominated world commerce untill 1600's those are Spice route and Silk route. Both of which pass through Arabia, a destitute region, obviously due to its topography.

Arabia survived only due to a number of oasises and due to the reason it is in this trade route. Arabians are greatly influenced by the cultures of Chineese and Hindu cultures that interacted with them because of this trade route. Arabians grew to be great merchants and at the same time contracted the good and bad of these cultures. It took Mohammad to reform them and many other Nomands who remained untouched by Christianity, due to its hijack by Romans and Europeans.

Mohammad in line of many reformers before him including Christ in the region did a great job of making this people civilized. He had to resort to the same practices of hallucinations and use the name of God for the same reasons as reformers before to get the message to the people easily and get it sticked with them.

All along India and China were the leaders of world commerce and centers of uninterrupted civilizations for thousands of years. Arabians took basic math principles from them and improved them greatly and used them in trade in the form of developing maps and also astrology.

Mohammad's message is too great for the downtradden and uppressed people in idol worshipping places of east including India and beyond. Many rulers and merchants who came in contact first due to trade carried it to far away places. islam progressed the arabian reagion and beyond for a longtime before the arab in Muslim taken out by Mohammad creeped back into the Muslim again. This is the cause of all conflict in the world between Muslims and others and amongst Muslims themselves. This is nothing but a severe setback to what Mohammad did.

Islam moved away from Mohammads teaching, and only confined to strict observance of rules without spirit such as chanting prayers and practicing traditions. This is no difference than what Mohammad tried to abolish in Idol worshippers. It took 500 years for this to fall apart completely. Incase of Vedic relegions it took 5000 years to move completely away from its source.

Now what we see is a shouting match of who did what. Only solution is for Vedic relegions to get back to what they were before the class structure solidified and Islam to take the arab out of the Muslim.
