Muslims being discriminated in private sector also
By TwoCircles.net staff reporter
New Delhi: Not only in government sector, as disclosed by the Sachar Committee, Muslims are discriminated against in private sector also, reveals a study conducted by Prof Sukh Dev, chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC).
In his report, which is not an exclusive report on Muslims, Prof. Sukh Dev made the revelation about the discrimination of Muslims in private companies. He was actually reviewing discrimination against Dalits in private sector. During the research, he came to know that in comparison to Dalits and backward classes, it was much more difficult for Muslims to get job in private sector. According to Prof. Sukh Dev, even if some of them succeeded in getting employment in private sector, they are given less salaries and fewer fringe benefits.
Sachar Committee had earlier exposed the educational, economic and social degradation of Muslims in independent India. The Committee’s report plainly articulated that Muslims are discriminated against only because they are Muslims. Their share in government employment is very low. Their loan applications are rejected by banks. Muslim dominated areas are gradually turning into ghettos because no development work is undertaken there.

muslims, dalits, adivasis & tribals in private sector
It is absolutely true that muslims , dalits, adivasis and tribals are not preferred in private sector companies as the majority of the top managers are from high caste background and even the few christian excecutives are from the elitist class who try bending backwads to please their high caste hindu bosses by keeping the above "scum "at bay.
I have worked in 2 companies in the last 26 years and found that there is a pronounced discrimination against these communities, I have also been victimised in these companies , for voicing my concers on this issue;
1. usha international,2. crompton greaves ltd.
also in bajaj electricals, and auto, as far as I have information.
There should be a demand to publish the list of private companies with turnover of more than 50 crores ; their percentage of employees of the above communities and their levels of employment.
yours, truly,
