Zulfiqar Magsi appointed governor of Balochistan province

Islamabad : Zulfiqar Magsi was appointed governor of Pakistan s Balochistan province Wednesday, said an official statement.
President Pervez Musharraf made the appointment.
Magsi is the thirteenth governor of Pakistan s biggest province, Balochistan, area wise.
He had won a seat in the Balochistan Assembly from his native Jhal Magsi constituency in Balohcistan in the Feb 18 parliamentary elections.
Magsi will vacate his provincial assembly seat as nobody could hold both the offices simultaneously.
